The Public Advocate has a role in advising the community about the Guardianship Board, guardianship and the operation of the Guardianship and Administration Act 1993 and the Mental Health Act 1993 . The Public Advocate has produced easy to read leaflets and other resources about guardianship, mental health, enduring powers of attorney and enduring powers of guardianship, and about the office of the Public Advocate itself.
