What's the law? Australian law for new arrivals

 

What's the law? was produced by legal aid commissions throughout Australia and is ideal for use in
classroom or community settings.  It includes a DVD with 10 photo stories, information for teachers
and student activity sheets.

The DVD kit explores the real stories of migrants and refugees, from learning about road rules, renting
a house to buying  a car.  Viewers can learn about common legal issues through stories about police,
family issues and dealing with Centrelink.
